Siemens SPECT Systems Maintenance Agreement

SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss St., Saginaw, Michigan, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for preventative maintenance and emergency repairs for Siemens SPECT Systems. NAICS Code 811210, size standard $34.0 million.

The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Siemens Healthineers (40 Liberty Boulevard, Malvern, PA 19355 ), for this procurement due to the proprietary nature of the hardware, software, and firmware of this system.

The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to service the Siemens equipment located at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss St., Saginaw, Michigan, for the period of April 22, 2024 April 21, 2025 in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
