Strata Xtrac Maintenance Agreement

This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, Strata Skin Sciences, Inc. The procurement is for Strata Xtrac Service Maintenance Agreement.

This contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice. Responses must be furnished in sufficient detail to provide clear and unambiguous evidence that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirement.

If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition. The Government will not pay for information submitted. A determination not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses shall be emailed to Chad Kemper at chad.kemper@va.gov by 2PM EST.
