INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Ann Arbor & Toledo Medical Reference Lab Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to negotiate, on a limited source basis, under authority of FAR 8.405-6, with ARUP Laboratories, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT for medical reference laboratory services. This is a short-term contract to prevent a lapse in services while a new long-term contract is awarded and the period of performance begins.

A solicitation for the long-term contract was posted to Contract Opportunities on 5/7/2024 with a close date of 5/28/2024 (36C25024R0155). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted via email to maryjane.crim@va.gov.

Each response shall include the following Business Information: a. Contractor Name, Address, b. Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email address c. Contractor SAM UEI d. Contractor Business Classification (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, hubZone, veteran owned, etc.) as validated in System for Award Management (SAM).
