Questions and Answers: Add #1 stated as builts will be provided before bid date? The dampers shown on the as-builts attached to this addendum include all but four dampers included in the scope of this project, as well as many more. Please reference the list of corrections attached to the solicitation when viewing these drawings.
The four dampers not in the drawings have had their locations verified and are included in the list attached to the solicitation Is there a list with damper sizes There is no complete list with damper sizes due to incomplete records. The average size of known fire dampers is 24"Wx16"H SD replacement calls out for a mixing damper to be installed is there a spec on this damper also is this SD to be removed and the mixing damper installed in the duct work? The smoke dampers are 46"Wx62"H and the actuators are 24V.
The smoke dampers are all in a plenum accessed from a mechanical room. There will be no duct work or access panels for the smoke dampers. Under Unknown will any work associated with this be as a change order to the contract? The dampers that need to be verified may require contract modifications if a full replacement is necessary.
