Oxford Nanopore GridIon Annual Warranty Renewal

Description The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development (R&D), Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oxford Nanopore Tech. The requirement is for the procurement of License and Warranty- Gridion for the Indianapolis VAMC. This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements.

This is because the Government asserts that Oxford Nanopore Tech is the only contractor that can provide this specific requirement needed by the R&D Laboratory at Indianapolis VAMC. Specifically, the characteristics of the Nikon Instruments INC that are unique are as follows:

Equipment that is already on hand at the station License and warranty - Gridion This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation (quote) to the Contracting Officer no later than Friday, 1/12/2024, (3:00 PM, CST). A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
