INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 09, located at 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 204, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 issues and award a Sole Source single award Firm-Fixed Price type contract with an after receipt of order (ARO) of 90 days to Mobility Research, LLC. located at 3156 W. Lewis Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009 under FAR 13.106-1(Only one source).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is 800 Employees. This requirement will provide postural and weight-bearing assistance for fall-free therapeutic activities and assistance with daily living activities. The Lexington VA Healthcare System is seeking to establish the following:

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no written response is received within the closing date of this notice, a single source award will be made to Mobility Research, LLC. without any further notice.
