Switchgear Annual Maintenance and Inspection INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD NC08 contracting representing C.W. Bill Young Veterans Administration Medical Center intends to negotiate with ASCO POWER SERVICES INC. on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement will be a base year plus four option years.

This sole source requirement is to provide Emergency Power Equipment specifically for the 12470 volt and 480-volt ASCO Power Technologies paralleling switchgear services across the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System to aid in the set-up, calibration, modification, and troubleshooting of the system. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
