SPECIAL NOTICE: 36C24825Q0405 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced Contract to Hill-Rom, Inc. 1069 State Road 46 E. Batesville, IN 47006-7520. A sole source procurement will be issued to Hill-Rom, Inc using other than competitive procedures, as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 337910 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees for this procurement.

Estimated Value: $730,752.78 Background. The Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, 1201 NW 16th St., Miami, FL 33125, has a requirement for the replacement of existing hospital bed mattresses for Hill-Rom Beds owned by the Miami VA Medical Center in compliance with a Federal Patient Safety Alert AL24-01 Addendum #1 - #3.
