FY25 Miami Home Oxygen (Short-Term)

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source a Short Term Contract to TransOX, INC, 3469 Leaphart Road, Columbia, SC, 29169, for continuation of Home Oxygen Services for the Miami VA Healthcare System, 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125 and catchment areas of Broward, Dade, and Monroe Counties. Proposed contract duration, including monthly option periods is approximately three months, with an option to extend for three months.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The statutory authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) for restricting competition on this procurement. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 532283, Home Health Equipment Rental, with a small business administrative size standard of $41M.

The current Federal Acquisition Circular is 2025-03, dated 01/17/2025. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
