FY25 ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (ACGME) GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education LLC, 401 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60611-3295, for Cancer Accreditation, to the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 00921. This is an intent to sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), which is set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements.

This procurement is for a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 813920, and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $23.5 Million. The current FAC is 2025-01, dated 11/12/2024.

This procurement is also being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. If vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, please submit evidence of your capabilities. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary and the Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent.
