Intent to Sole Source Open MRI Applications Training for FUJIFILM James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. The James A. Haley VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with FUJIFILM Healthcare America. They are located at 1959 Summit Commerce Park Twinsburg OH, 44087. FUJIFILM shall provide applications training for the Hitachi Medical Oasis M281 MRI system.

The Hitachi Medical Oasis M281 MRI system is a proprietary design, therefore another firm would not be familiar with the rationale of the design; not be able to address Request for Information (RFI s) accurately; or accurately provide training for this equipment, which is critical for proper patient care, as well as a sound end product.

The applications training of the Hitachi Medical Oasis M281 MRI system at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center is located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa FL 33612. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541990. The size standard is $19.5 million. Interested parties that can meet the capabilities and requirements, may identify their interest, and submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations.

Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements, must submit information about their capabilities no later than 12:00PM EST, 10/18/2024. All information shall be provided at no cost, or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation with FUJIFILM Healthcare America.
