Industrial Equipment Rental for VA Caribbean Healthcare System

Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The associated NAICS code for this service is 532490 with a small business size standard of $40,000,000 and Product Service Code 3930, Warehouse Trucks and Tractors, Self-Propelled.

The identified vendor is Gonzalez Trading LLC. The Facilities Management Service (FMS) at VACHS needs a contractor to provide short term rental of several Industrial Power Trucks for several VA Caribbean Healthcare Services warehouses. The equipment shall be available no later than October 1, 2024. The intent is to rent the equipment for a base period of three (3) months with an additional 3-month option period. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and that equipment will be available for use by October 1, 2024, at the VACHS warehouses. Responses must be received no later than September 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM (Puerto Rico local time) to Baryan Sierra at baryan.sierrapierluissi@va.gov.
