Page 2 of 2 Page 2 of 2 Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources that can provide Sign Language Interpretation and Captioning Services for the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS). This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only (not a pre-solicitation notices pursuant to FAR Part 5).

This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid- Request for Quote or Request for Proposal- nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice.

Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition- the NAICS code is 541930 and the small business size standard of $22.5M is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement of your firm to demonstrate your understanding and ability to perform as a prime contractor for these services. Capability statements shall include the following business information:

a. UEI number- business name- and address.

b. Point of Contact (Including name- title- addresses- telephone number- fax number and Email address) c. Business size for NAICS: 541930 The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code 541930 (Translation and Interpretation Services) who can provide these services. d. Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB- VOSB- 8a- HUBZone- WO- Small Business- etc.) All information must be received no later than: August 12, 2024 at 4PM EST. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: American Sign Language Interpretation Services The Orlando VA Healthcare System seeks to provide meaningful access to services, independently of language capabilities. This contract is for certified sign language interpreters, tactile language interpreters, and captioning services for OVAHCS employees, and for Veterans and their caregivers, who may need such services due to visual, hearing, and/or speech impairments.

The Contractor must provide these services upon request, 365 days a year, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, at the locations listed below.

Lakemont Ave., Orlando, FL 32814 Lake Nona Medical Center 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827 Viera Outpatient Clinic (OPC) 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL 32940 Kissimmee Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 2285 N. Central Ave., Kissimmee, FL 34741 Orange City CBOC Station 675GD, 2583 South Volusia Ave., Suite 300, Orange City, FL 32763 Daytona OPC 551 National Healthcare Dr., Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Deltona Clinic 1200 Deltona Blvd. Suites 41-47 Deltona, FL 32725 Clermont CBOC Station 67GF, 805 Oakley Seaver Dr., Clermont, FL 34711 and any future OVAHCS facility and community care locations. This is a multi-award agreement; Contractors must list all locations they can provide services.
