Notice of Intent to Sole Source - ImageGrid Archive System

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This notice is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.1, Dissemination of Information. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a request for competitive quotes, proposals, or bids.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 07, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Candelis Inc, 4701 Von Karman Avenue, Suite 200, Newport Beach California, 92660. The contract will be awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(2), Soliciting from a single source, in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

A Justification for Single Source Awards has been prepared. The anticipated award date is June 30, 2025. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide the Atlanta VA Medical Center with a new Candelis ImageGrid archiving system (hardware and software) for local storage of nuclear medicine data, studies, and images to replace and expand the existing Candelis ImageGrid system.

The Contractor must also provide services to migrate 16TB of data and images acquired and stored over the past 15 years, as well as on-site installation and training for the new system. Additional details are included in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) draft. Delivery and Place of Performance is the Atlanta VA Medical Center at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur GA 30033. Delivery and installation of the required system shall be complete within 30 days after the contract award date.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this requirement is 334510 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6525. RESPONDING TO NOTICE: Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice by submitting clear and convincing documentation that demonstrates their capability to provide the requested products and services, and that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Responses must include the business name and Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number, and point of contact s name, e-mail address, and phone number. Responses received from responsible sources by the deadline, will be considered for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice, is solely within the Government s discretion.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Documents received in response to this notice will not be returned.
