THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposals, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
INTRODUCTION: The Salisbury VA Medical Center/Health Care System (SVAHCS) has a new requirement for Medical Respite Transitional Housing. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following service: The Salisbury VA Health Care System covers a 21-county catchment area in central North Carolina.
This facility also provides homeless support services to those Veterans requiring resources to aid them in the procurement of permanent housing through the Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Program. The Contractor shall furnish transitional housing and services for homeless Veterans who are beneficiaries of the W.G. Bill Hefner VAHCS and who are in need of medical respite or recuperative care where typical emergency housing programs may not be suitable, but where hospital-level care is not needed.
See attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 623220 with the Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors with this requirement, a solicitation may be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website https://sam.gov/content/home .
The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
Respondents to these Sources Sought shall provide the following information: Capability statement Name and address of company NAICS Code SAM.gov UEI number Business size (large, small, VOSB, or SDVOSB) Identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm s ability to meet above requirement. All responses shall be submitted no later than 10:00 AM EDT Friday 11 September 2026. All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to kamilah.nye@va.gov.
