OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for construction services for Project 565-26-110 Replace AHU #34, to support the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Specifications and a draft copy of the Statement of Work are attached.

SCOPE OF WORK Project 565-26-110 Replace AHU #34: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, testing, commissioning, and incidentals required to remove the existing Air Handling Unit (AHU) #34 and furnish and install a new fully operational AHU. Work includes general construction, demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls integration, and all associated tasks necessary to deliver a complete and functional system meeting VA standards, ASHRAE requirements, and all applicable codes. Period of performance: All work to be completed within 180 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed.

MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 SMALL BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS For market research purposes, all responses to this notice will be reviewed, regardless of small business/socioeconomic category, including those firms that are identified as large businesses. Review of responses to this notice will support later determination of set-aside requirements, if a solicitation becomes available, where the rule of two is met regarding a set-aside, including set-asides under 38 U.S.C.

8127 and 8128 for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) firms registered in the Small Business Administration s Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) Engine database, in accordance with priorities set by regulation.
