VAMC Salem VA is looking for 38 medical carts that meet the following Salient Characteristics. Salient Characteristics Push Button motorized adjustment. Motorized Adjustment from seated to standing position.
Minimally, Keyboard must lower to 26.25" with all drawer configurations Minimally, Keyboard must raise to 44" with all drawer configurations Keyboard and Mouse Adjustment At a minimum the display must adjust down, forward and tilt up and down Rotation of display to rotate Steering system Cart must have touchscreen display Lightweight power system minimally no larger than 3lbs Battery capacity must meet or exceed 51.4AH Power system must have WiFi and Bluetooth capability and be FIPS 140-2 Listed Power system must not be located in the base of the cart At a minimum the power system must be able to reboot PC with the push of a cart touchscreen display button Power system must be able to send a ticket into the hospital IT service management system Power system must be located under the worksurface Must have hospital grade plastics that can be cleaned with hospital cleaners At a minimum the product must contain a 6-year mechanical and electrical warranty, 4 year battery performance and defect warranty Medication bins must be interchangeable and removable Medication bins must be electronic locking At a minimum the medication bin configuration must be able to be reprogrammed to accept and properly display different bin configurations Cart must alarm audibly and visually to indicate any drawers left open Drawer access must accept PIN codes for security John Harmsen John.harmsen@va.gov
