Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Getinge USA Sales, LLC, 1 Geoffrey Way, Wayne NJ 07470 for Preventative Maintenance Services on the PRM 733 Sterilizer and Chamber Cleaning of Sterilizers. located at the Fayetteville VAMC, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole provider of the PRM 733 Sterilizer and all associated products and service maintenance.

Using any other supplier would result in duplicated costs that would not be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research has determined that these items can only be obtained from a single source without an unacceptable duplication of cost or delay in the continuity of patient care. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any business that believes it can provide the preventative maintenance to the PRM 733 Sterilizer may give written notice to Patsy.Simpson@va.gov by 10:00am EDT on November 18, 2024. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
