HL7 eCareManager INTERFACE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, contract to Clinicomp International, Inc, the HL7 eCareManager Interface Configuration system for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located at Hampton VA Medical Center at 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton VA 23667. This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (Only One Source).

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) with a small business size standard of $34.0 million.

This contract is for the procurement and installation of Health Level Seven (HL7) interface between CliniComp, Intl Clinical information system to the Philips eCareManager Tele Critical Care application; A CliniComp proprietary software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS Order to include the following:

Description: HL7 eCareManager Interface. 1 EA A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
