The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Â The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Durham VA Medical Center, is conducting market research to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for SDVOSB and VOSBs to Inspect and Repair of Existing Roof Deficiencies as needed, at the Durham Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS).
The Department of Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS) seeks a contractor to furnish all labor, material, equipment, parts, supervision, etc., necessary to Inspect and make Repairs to Existing Roof deficiencies, at the Durham VA Health Care System. The contractor will provide a report of inspection listing out any deficiencies found with the roof. Pictures of the deficiencies will be included in the report.
The contractor will provide a detailed estimate of the repair of the deficiencies for review by Engineering Services. No work repair work is to occur until approved by Engineering Services. The contractor shall be a roofing contractor. Project shall be coordinated with the Durham VAHCS assigned Contracting Officers Representative and the services shall not interfere with normal hospital operations.
Hours of Operation: Services shall be performed Monday through Friday starting at 7:30am until 4:00pm, excluding Federal holidays, and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States. Federal holidays are available at the Federal Holiday OPM Site. For working outside the hours as defined in this contract, the vendor shall give 3-day notice to the Contracting Officer Representative so that arrangements can be provided for the employees.
This notice is separate from any notices required for utility shutdown described later in this section. All work to be coordinated around an operational medical center as to minimize impact to patient care.
The Roof Repairs are at the Durham VAHCS located at 508 Fulton Street, NC 27705. he North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541350 Building Inspection Services Size Standard $11.5 Million Dollar, and the Product Service Code (PSC) Classification is J039.  Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1. Company name and DUN # 2. POC information 3. Business size and socio-economic classification (SDVOSB) 4.
