INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Tate Engineering Systems. This order will be for full technical support and maintenance for three Nebraska Boilers and the rental of three boilers and DA tank at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Central Richmond Virginia. The rental and maintenance service from Tate Engineering will be for the facility s Utility Plant at the Medical Center in Richmond Virginia. The period of performance is 29 Feb 2024 to 30 Sept 2024 is to serve as the base year. The Service Agreement is to include and not limited to:

Rental Deaerator Tank: Include all required annual maintenance and repairs, including emergency repairs.

Rental Boiler: Include all required annual maintenance and repairs, including emergency repairs. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM EST, 7 Mar 2024 to:
