Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: Amendment for VISN 06, Pest Control Services for Bed Bugs The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Kernersville VA Clinic intends to solicit a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business set-aside for pest control services for bed bugs located at 1695 Kernersville Medical Pkwy, Kernersville, NC 27284. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to solicit the pest control services for bed bugs.

A Firm-Fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The VA anticipates issuing a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business solicitation for this requirement. When available, the solicitation will be available for download at http://www.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available.

The solicitation will provide instructions to offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective Offeror(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Quotes will be evaluated for award after the soliciation has closed.

In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible.

The applicable NAICS Code is 561710-Exterminating and Pest Control Services with a small business size standard of $17.5 million. The Product Service Classification (PSC) code is S207. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. A single firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Kernersville VA Clinic. Responsible offeror(s) may submit offers.

The VA will consider for evaluation only quotes from offerors who are found to be responsive and responsible.
