Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Sources Sought in order to identify capable firms and obtain information for planning purposes only.

Responses must be submitted by 12:00 PM EST, March 19th, 2026. Submit responses to this Sources Sought via email to james.ferro@va.gov All SDVOSB and VOSB firms that respond shall include proof of SBA certification via https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/All small business firms that respond shall include proof of small business status via their Representations and Certifications in accordance with (FAR 4.1102 Policy).

While SDVOSB/VOSB firms are preferred, all capable firms are welcome to respond to this Sources Sought. All respondents to this Sources Sought shall include as part of their response answers to the below questions and provide any additional pertinent information that supports the answers. If there are any ambiguities in this Sources Sought, please identify them in your response.

The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., socioeconomic set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses.

Inc Swing Arm, Inclined 2 9I_SO_CLASS_A-OM Leica Service Installation 1 Statement of Work (SOW) ENT Microscope Replacement 1.0 General 1.1 Background The mission of the Hershel Woody Williams VAMC is to provide patient care. The mission of the ENT department is to provide the best possible care with state of the art medical equipment. The current ENT microscopes have reached end of life and need to be replaced.

1.2 Objective The replacement microscopes need to be able to meet or exceed the specifications of the current Leica M400 and URBAN M703F. The contractor will need to deliver the equipment onsite and perform installation and training for staff. 1.3 Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW).

The contractor shall deliver, install, and train staff on two new ENT microscopes 1.4 Period of Performance The period of performance of this contract is the date of delivery during operating hours of the VAMC.

1.5 Place of Performance Huntington VAMC 1540 Spring Valley Drive Huntington WV ENT clinic 2.0 Specific Requirements/Tasks 2.1 Deliver two ENT microscopes 2.1.1 Equipment must be installed in the ENT clinic 2.1.2 Equipment must be calibrated per original equipment manufacturer specifications by certified service technician(s).

2.1.3 Any installation documentation/equipment manuals must be copied and give to the Huntington VAMC Biomedical Engineering department 2.2 On-Site Training 2.2.1 VA Staff must schedule the training during the business hours of 8am-4pm 3.0 Delivery or Deliverables Two Microscopes Two floor stands Two sets for accessories as quoted (power cables, dust covers, handles, etc.) Installation of all items Calibration of both units Training for VA staff If you are interested, please e-mail the following information:
