NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Page 2 of 2 THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract with a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business L1 Enterprises, LLC. under the authority of VAAR 819.7008 (Deviation), Sole source awards to certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing and the size standard is 1250 employees. The proposed procurement is for the purchase of Hopkins Rigid Telescopes for the VA Philadelphia Healthcare System. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be made available. The Government will not pay for information submitted.
