NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:Â Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award an FSS sole source contract award to KCI USA, Inc., 12930 W Interstate 10, San Antonio, TX 78249 for the rental of wound vac equipment located at the NJ VA Healthcare System, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018, to include four (4) option years. NAICS Code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 Employees.

The classification code is W065 Lease or Rental of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements.

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by December 3, 2025, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (EST).
