This request for information (RFI) is posted for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation. This is not a request for quotes and no award shall be made from this inquiry. This is only to determine what type of set-aside shall be used in the solicitation. The Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768-2200 is seeking a qualified source that can provide comprehensive well water system maintenance, emergency repair and management plan.
All operators who perform testing, certification, maintenance, etc. shall have valid NYS licensing. The period of performance is September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026 with the provision of four (4) option years. This requirement is looking for interest in providing all the labor, tools and equipment to perform the following:
Quarterly preventative maintenance (PM) to five well houses ( wells, pumps, piping, controls and auxiliary equipment), booster pumps, two air stripping towers and water treatment system. PM to include:
oil testing, vibration testing, checking controls and pressures gages. Yearly PM for water quality report and pump oil change. Consultation related to NY State and Local Regulations and recommendations for improvement. 24/7 availability to respond within two (2) hours for an emergency . 24/7 emergency telephone number for emergencies. Twice monthly continuous maintenance for chlorine pumps, chlorination motors, lime mixers, blower and other items as needed. Annual inspection of the tank.
