This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare System Research Department intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), brand name only, sole source action.

165 Route 526 City, State, Zip: Allentown, NJ 08501 The VA New Jersey Healthcare System Research Department is requesting the procurement of an Allentown Phantom 2 Animal Transfer Stations. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. Contact with the vendor for any repairs or preventative maintenance will occur through the Veterinary Medical Unit Supervisor and the Research Department. Engineering will need to do a safety check on the machine and place it into inventory but will not be needed for set-up.

Warranty: Products shall be warranted to be free from failures due to defects in materials or workmanship to include parts and labor; 3 years (36 months). This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on September 2, 2024. Responses to be submitted to Chad M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
