Buffalo, NY 14224 GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Tube and Bundle Heat Exchanger Sterile Processing Services Type of Contract Contemplated: Firm Fixed Price SCOPE The contractor shall provide and deliver one (1) CEMLINE replacement tube bundle.

REQUIREMENT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SPECIFICATIONS Common Nomenclature: Replacement Tube Bundle- Intended use: The steam generated for the SPS comes from a dedicated non-fired pressure vessel that is powered by house steam from the facility s boiler plant. This vessel is referred to as a Clean Steam Generator.

The clean steam generator uses a tube and bundle heat exchanger to transfer heat from the boiler plant house steam into the clean steam generator to heat filtered feedwater thus creating a very clean and pure steam that meets the astringent requirements of SPS sterilization protocols. The tube and bundle heat exchanger currently in use is required by manufacturer to be serviced annually and replaced every five years. Replacement Tube Bundle- CEMLINE Part# 1630AA-SP Specs: 316 SS Tubes, Fiber Gaskets, SS Spacers, 16 x 30 End Bell Inspection/Acceptance Upon delivery the designated VA personnel from Engineering will perform an inspection This inspection will ensure that all equipment/supplies are accounted for in the delivery and that there is no discrepancy with the delivery manifest. Any damaged items identified during the inspection will not be accepted.

Government-Furnished Property, Material, Equipment, or Information (GFP, GFM, GFE, or GFI): None Shipping FOB Destination PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 60 days ARO BILLING/INVOICING: Billed upon receipt of product. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government.

All capability statements must be received by no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on March 22, 2024. Responses to be submitted to Chad M. Johnson, Contracting Officer at chad.johnson4@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
