36C24126Q0634 Amendment 0001 This Amendment to RFI 36C24126Q0634 serves to make the following correction: The vendor to whom this procurement requirement is intended to be awarded on a sole-source basis is revised from Zeus Scientific to Sebia Inc. While no other aspects of this Notice of Intent to Sole Source have changed, the actual vendor is the parent company, Sebia Inc., rather than its subsidiary, Zeus Scientific.

The items listed in the original NOITSS remain unchanged and Zeus Scientific remains the only vendor capable of providing all the required products and also manufactures in the United States. This Amendment is NOT a request for competitive proposals. There is no Solicitation available at this time. Requests for a Solicitation will not receive a response. This Amendment serves only to make the above correction of information.

Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) requires a five-year-BPA for Borrelia MTTT Lyme Testing Reagents and Supplies for use with the Dynex Agility® Automated ELISA System owned by and in use at the VA CT Medical Center. All testing reagents and supplies are to be ordered on an as-needed basis. All required assays must be FDA-approved, made in the US, and compatible with the Dynex Agility Automated ELISA System.

The intent is to procure the referenced supplies on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.

The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 325413. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned products may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Sarah.Otis@va.gov. The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
