The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   REDWOOD TOXICOLOGY 3650 WESTWIND BLVD SANTA ROSA, CA 95403-1066 UEI: WEU1C4GSKD97 This is not a solicitation.

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate urine toxicology screening services for VA Boston Healthcare System, Cooperative Studies Program (CSP). The services support an ongoing research study to compare the effectiveness of two formulations of buprenorphine (subcutaneous vs. sublingual) in Veterans with moderate-to severe opioid use disorder.

Changing testing laboratories during the study collection period jeopardizes the critical data points that are being collected due to differences in machine calibrations. The contractor will provide the required screening supplies to participating VA sites, perform urine toxicology screenings, and if required, confirmation testing.

Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities on SAM.gov.
