Centralized clinical Placement Fees

STATEMENT OF WORK TEMPLATE GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: MA Centralized Clinical Placement System 2. Scope of Work: The Centralized Clinical Placement Faculty Database is the newest addition to the Massachusetts CCP suite of clinical placement tools. This is a collaborative project of the Massachusetts Centralized Clinical Placement Program and the Massachusetts Action Coalition.

The CCP Faculty Database is designed to connect nursing programs with faculty candidates in order to fill vacant faculty positions and build faculty capacity. With the CCP Faculty Database, nursing programs are able to post open positions, search and view faculty candidate profiles, and respond to candidate inquiries. Faculty candidates are able to post profiles, search and view open positions, and submit inquiries about positions.

3. Background: The Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) software, developed by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education, is a stand-alone Internet-based software system designed to facilitate the display, scheduling, and management of clinical placements between health care organizations and education programs. This system is regionally-based and reflects the input of the participating regional education and practice communities.

N/A 5. Additional Information: The MA Centralized Clinical Placement System is a yearly subscription service that VHABHS has been using for the past several years. It is an independent State of Massachusetts platform that is independent from the VA platform. It does not interact with VA IT systems. It is a system that local colleges and universities can access to look for placement for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Our VA Clinical Pleacemnt Department uses the system to work with colleges and universities to see if they can assist.
