Notice of Intent to Sole Source JCI Fire Alarm Testing

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to large business Johnson Controls. This award is for the testing and inspecting of Fire Alarm System which is primarily connected to the proprietary Johnson Controls Simplex system. This award will be a base year with 3 option years. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirements.

This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR 13-501(a). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement for possible consideration in future procurements by the Government to david.valenzuela2@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM EST 18 December 2024.
