Response Due Date: July 25, 2024, by 10:00AM (EST) NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS. Network Contract Office 1, Procurement Office East on behalf of The Department of Veterans Affairs, Manchester VA Medical Center 718 Smyth Road Manchester, NH 03104-7007. The Contracting Activity will establish a twenty-nine-month lease for items listed below which will be contracted pursuant to the leasing terms and conditions agreed to in Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract #36F79721D0168.

The equipment being requested includes 3 HD Sinuscopes, 6 Flexible video HD Rhino Laryngoscopes, 1 HD LED CD Monitor, and various accessories. The Period of Performance will be 29 Months due to the Olympus FSS contract 36F79721D0168 ending on 12/31/2026.

The proposed procurement is for products/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.

The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 532490. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned products may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Divianna.Mathurin@va.gov . The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
