Pre-Solicitation Notice VHA Network Contracting Office 1 New England (NCO1) intends to acquire the goods/services described below by soliciting only among the authorized distributors of the Philips Ultrasound Accessories Acquisition Module. OEM part number 453561921802. NCO 1 intends to solicit the SDVOSB authorized distributors of the OEM under the streamlined and simplified acquisition procedures of FAR 12.6 and FAR 13.104, competition to the maximum extent practicable.

NCO1 intends to obtain Philips Ultrasound Accessories Acquisition Module. OEM part number 453561921802 from these unique sources. The PSC/FSC is 6525. The NAICS is 334510. The size standard is 1,250. There is an SBA nonmanufacturer rule (NMR) class waiver for these items dated 12/20/2007. Since the items are exclusively available from the authorized distributors of the OEM, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov.

This procurement is subject to prohibitions in VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) including 852.212-71 Gray Market Items and 852.212-72 Gray Market and Counterfeit Items.
