The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source award to ThunderCat Technology, LLC. for National Simulation Center (NSC) Licenses and Software, for the Office of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Program Office. The Firm-Fixed Price Base and 4 option year contract will provide service analytic licenses (software application) allowing HTM to expand server resources and expand existing resources at the Orlando data center.
This application will serve as a mechanism to host nationally supported clinical systems, provide clinicians with efficient access to Veteran health information, and improve VA s delivery of health care to our nation s Veterans. This proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Authorized or required by statute.
The applicable statute is Public Law 109- 461: Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 specifically, the Veterans First Contracting Program outlined in 38 U.S.C.§ 8127(b) and VAAR 806.302-570(b). This is a "Notice of Intent" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice no later than 10:00AM ET on August 28, 2024.The determination to not compete the proposed acquisition is wholly within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for paying on any costs incurred and/or associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice.
