Notice of Intent to Sole Source Follow-On - Leadership Training

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source, purchase order to CANADIAN OUTBACK ADVENTURE COMPANY LIMITED, 332 Esplanade E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1A4, Canada for custom follow-on (Part 2) leadership training to (Part 1) leadership training previously held.

Part 2 leadership training will take place in-person in August 2024 and is custom designed to be a logical follow-on to Part 1 leadership training provided by CANADIAN OUTBACK ADVENTURE COMPANY LIMITED in April 2024. Part 2 custom training supports VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) leadership through various modules, individual exercises, and team exercises to assist in problem-solving specific VAAA issues and areas of concern discovered in Part 1 training.

To do so, Part 2 will further expound on and apply the principles learned in Part 1 (Emotional Intelligence, Trust and Reliability, Resiliency, Compromise, Time Management, Effective Communication, Teaming and Partnering, Collaboration, and the Power of Leading & Following). This proposed Purchase Order is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i).

This is a "Notice of Intent" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Parties may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice no later than 10:00 AM ET on June 14, 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
