Plum Case and Cradlepoint Retrofit (VA-26-00048810)

On August 28, 2026, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 issued Firm-Fixed Price Delivery Order NNG15SD38B 36C10B25F0303 to RedHawk IT Solutions, LLC under the terms and conditions of its National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V Government-Wide Acquisition Contract, NNG15SD38B, and modifications thereto.

The action was solicited on a brand name basis as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside as the result of Market Research. Through this action, VA procured Brand Name Plum Laboratories, Inc. Plum Case Retrofit to retrofit and upgrade existing brand name Plum Enterprise ENT Cases (quantity of 165- Part Number ENT0007) with brand name services and components. Upon completion, the cases will meet the same specification as Plum Enterprise SR Mini with PCX (Star-link ready) (Part Number ENTSR0002).

Also included in this requirement is an Optional Task for an additional (1) year of Brand Name Enterprise Network Cloud Management (NCM) license for each Plum Case upgraded, which shall co-term with the overarching footprint of licenses. The contract is issued with one (1) 12-Month base period and one (1) 12-Month period for the Optional task.

The base Period of Performance (PoP) for the Plum Case Retrofit effort shall be from August 28, 2026 through August 27, 2027. The Optional Task for each case shall begin upon completion of the retrofit upgrade and shall co-term with the overarching VA NetCloud management licenses.

The ultimate contract completion date, inclusive of the Optional Task, is August 27, 2028. In accordance with RFO 16.507-6(f)(1), the award notice for this action will be synopsized on the Contract Opportunities website and this justification will be made publicly available within 14 days of award
