Request for Information Automated Discharge Planning This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider.
You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy.
Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a call order under its competitively solicited/awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) 36C10B21A0001 for the procurement of Automated Discharge Planning software and associated services for the Charles George VA Medical Center. VA is conducting additional market research of like/alternate solutions and reseller capabilities.
It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and submit responses to the items listed below. If interested, please provide the following:
Please indicate whether you are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code this announcement is issued under, and whether you are you considered a Small Business (as stated in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database).
If identifying as a SDVOSB or VOSB, please also indicate whether or not you are verified as an SDVOSB/VOSB in the Small Business Administration s Veteran Small Business Certification Portal (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)) as required under the Veterans First Contracting Program. A capability statement tailored to the requirements for a COTS solution as contained within the Draft Product Description (PD) and related Basic Agreement Performance Work Statement.
Please ensure your response provides adequate detail to how you or your solutions meet each of these technical requirements. Please limit capability statements to no more than 5 pages. A Rough order of Magnitude (ROM) for the requirements.

RFI responses are to be submitted directly to Kelly Reale and Michael Weckesser by 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Submissions shall be less than 5MB and shall be less than 5 pages in length. Generic capability statements that do not address the specific requirements shall not be considered as responsive. This posting hereby also serves as the synopsis of the intended actions as required by FAR 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.
