Despite identifying numerous authorized resellers of brand name LENEL maintenance services, no responses were received from the three (3) RFIs. Recognizing the urgency, the CS proactively contacted Securitas Technology Corporation (Securitas), a large business and the current contractor providing similar services at the Albany VA Medical Center.

Securitas, an authorized reseller of LENEL, responded via email providing a preliminary quote and through phone call confirming that they are interested and capable of providing the required maintenance on the existing brand name LENEL OnGuard PACS at the Albany OI&T Office. While there are several contractors capable of maintaining LENEL PACS, the stringent requirements for a four-hour emergency telephonic response and a 12-hour repair time critically constrain the pool of viable contractors.

The necessity for rapid and reliable service, particularly within the Albany area, underscores the imperative to use a contractor who can meet these urgent maintenance and repair needs. Therefore, Securitas is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the required support and maintenance to the existing brand name LENEL OnGuard PACS. 5.This acquisition
