SYNOPSIS- NAICS Code for this procurement is 423830,333912,333914,339991,423840,811310. Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG) / LBNFDUNESUS has a requirement for a duplex pumping system to be installed in a utility building to supply another location with reverse osmosis water.

Requirements are as followed- -Flow/Pressure: -500 GPM @ 166’ of TDH for each pump. -Materials: -All wetted surfaces shall be either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel. -Electrical: -480 VAC (460 VAC), three phase -Grounding lug to be included. -Duplex Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s) will be supplied matched to the drive motors to be fed off of pump discharge pressure sensor. -Fused disconnect to be provided for each drive. -Motors to be 1750 RPM.

Assembly Configuration: -Pump/Motor combinations to be “long coupled” (Standard coupling build configuration). -Pump/Motor base will be a Reinforced foundation baseplate. Fermi Research Alliance, LLC intends to issue a sole source subcontract to SUPERIOR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY 1609 Afton Road, Sycamore Illinois 60178 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that SUPERIOR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY is the sole provider of the following for Fermilab Accelerator National Laboratory:

Line 1- RO Transfer Pump Assembly: 2K4x3-13HHRV M3 ST/1, including pump, motor and base plate QTY 2 Line 2- Danfoss VLT Aqua Drive FC-202 VFD Model #: FC-202P37KT4E55H2XGX, 37KW/50 HP QTY 2 Three Phase, 380-480VAC IP55/ Type 12 Enclosure RF| Filter Mains Disconnect + Fuse Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 01/27/2025.

Such capabilities /qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
