NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO NOMAD GLOBAL COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS, INC.

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is issuing this notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, to Nomad Global Communication Solutions, Incorporated, a small business concern under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) – soliciting from a single source.

This acquisition is for the procurement of Spectrum Vehicle Warranty for maintenance services (NOM-Warranty2.0-Platinum) from the authorized reseller, Nomad Global Communication Solutions, Incorporated. MCTSSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The basis of the sole source: Nomad Global Communication Solutions, Incorporated is an authorized reseller that meets all requirements.

No other reseller meets the current need. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
