Special Notice to Sole Source Heat Transfer Oil

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for Keller-Heartt Oil LLC to purchase heart transfer oil for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Keller-Heartt Oil Company., has proprietary authorization for the Heat Transfer Oil. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
