34300024P0015 NOTICE TYPE: SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – Quadient Inc. NAICS Code - 561499 – All Other Business Support Services PSC - 7490 - Miscellaneous Office Machines The U. S. International Trade Commission (USITC or Commission), intends to make an award, on a sole source basis, to Quadient Inc., 478 Wheelers Farms RD, Milford, Connecticut 06461-9105, United States, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The requirement is for a new mail room postage machine to process, determine and attach proper postage, as well as service and support for the device, for 5 years. Quadient manufactures the only machine capable of meeting the USITC's requirements for its mission critical mailing services. Quadient's machine is capable of the quantity, efficiency and accuracy needed for the USITC to meet its mission.

The expected period of performance is a base period of 12 months (06/01/2024 to 05/31/2025), with four 12 month option periods. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this announcement is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within seven days after the posting date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
