A.3 Item Description:

OFF-SPEC MIXED FUEL: UN1268, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, N.O.S., CLASS 3, PG III A.4 IFB Item Number Details: The fuels listed in this IFB are being sold for energy recovery only, in accordance with the RCRA exemption found at 40 CFR 261.2(c)(2)(ii). The fuel will only be sold to purchasers that can demonstrate the ability to comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing the use of off-specification fuels for energy recovery.

The used turbine aviation fuel being advertised for sale in this IFB may/will have contamination that may include water and/or fuel oils from aircraft maintenance. Upon request from the Purchaser, the Generator will provide a profile for each tank prior to the tank contents being removed to ensure the fuel can be sold for energy This is NOT a service contract.
