Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Accounting Research & Analytics LLC

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Accounting Research & Analytics LLC (DBA CFRA Research), 12300 Twinbrook PKWY, Suite 510, Rockville, MD 20852 for a subscription to CFRA Research’s Public Company Accounting Intelligence.

The NAICS code is 513120. The contracting officer has determined that Accounting Research & Analytics LLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) – Sole Source Acquisitions.

The SEC requires subscription service to Public Company Accounting Intelligence, a service that analyzes U.S. public company financial information to identify entities with operational weaknesses and higher risk of financial statements fraud and provides custom training briefings. The service shall identify potentially fraudulent accounting practices and trends. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one year with four one year options.

The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Accounting Research & Analytics LLC on or about September 5, 2024. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by the response date of this notice.
