TBD Description: Military Sealift Command - Norfolk contracting office is seeking eligible businesses for the Regular Overhaul Availability (ROH) of the USNS HENRY J KAISER (T-AO 187) commencing on or about 31 MARCH 2025 for One-hundred (100) calendar days.

The USNS HENRY J KAISER has a length of 677.5 ft. and beam of 97.5 ft., an anticipated arrival draft of 20 Ft FWD and 27ft AFT not including a minimum draft clearance of three (3) feet beneath the keel at mean lower low water (MLLW) (tide ranges may be considered), and is 20,706 tons’ gross. Work is to be performed at the Contractor’s facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of Consideration is East/Gulf Coast. Estimated date of Solicitation is 18 September 2024. Major work items associated with this availability include:

Fr 50-60 Tank Deck Overhead, Deck Steel Replacement, ER Side Shell Replacement, PME and PTO Clutch Coupling Inspection, CCSI Lifeboat and Davit Service and Inspection, CCSI Close up Survey and Inspection, CCSI Watertight Closure inspection 5 year, CCSI Drydocking and Undocking the Vessel, CCSI Underwater Hull Cleaning and Paint, Freeboard Preservation, Mooring Deck Preservation, Deck Steel Replacement, Weather Deck Plating 05 and 06. a.
