Description: The U.S. Coast Guard, Base Los Angeles/Long Beach, has awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for the renovation of two restrooms located at Building 33 (Base Exchange) at 1001 S. Seaside Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the renovations.

The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of plumbing fixtures (toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, and water lines), drywall repair and painting (floor to ceiling), removal of existing vinyl flooring and installation of new ceramic 2’x1’ tile with matching cove base, ventilation fan replacement, ceiling repair, and installation of new LED lighting fixtures, light switches, mirrors, and accessories.

All work will comply with the Davis-Bacon Act (Wage Determination #CA20260017) and Buy American/Buy America Acts. This contract was awarded resulting from a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation evaluated on a Trade-Off basis. Past Performance and Scheduling, when combined, were significantly more important than Price alone. Atelier21 Intl was selected as providing the most advantageous offer and the best overall value to the Government.
