Integration and redesign the Digital Map Computer (DMC)/Digital Video Map Computer (DVMC), and Flight Control Computer (FCC) in support of the F/A-18 E/F & EA-18/G Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance Systems (AGCAS) program

The Contract was awarded on a sole source basis containing Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLINS to L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. for the integration and support of the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS) into the Digital Video Map Computers (DVMC) and Digital Map Computers (DMC) in support of PMA-209. The supplies and services under this contract include, but are not limited to:

Redesign and deliver the DVMC software to enable the use of Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) Level 1 and Shuttle Radar Topography (SRT) level 1F data for collision avoidance, Integration of a new Automated Terrain Awareness Warning System (ATAWS) software module into the DMC, perform software integration, testing and modifications, perform Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), supporting third party labs, support Government-performed flight test of AGCAS, perform engineering and technical support and perform software configuration management.
