A Concession Business Opportunity to Provide Commercial Services at Silos Recreation Area, Canyon Ferry Reservoir, Townsend, MT

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) provides notice of the release of a Prospectus to solicit proposals for the award of a Concession Contract (No. 26-LM-60-CC01) to provide commercial services to the public at Canyon Ferry Reservoir, at the area known as Silos Recreation Area located at 82 Silos Road, Townsend, MT 59644. The effective date of the next Concession Contract is expected to be in March 2027.

The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which Reclamation will award the Concession Contract. The Prospectus is attached to this posting.

Site Visit
Reclamation will host an open house for organizations interested in bidding on this opportunity on August 13, 2026, at the Silos Boat Ramp (82 Silos Road, Townsend, MT 59644), from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Offerors are encouraged to visit the area to become familiar with physical conditions and limitations involved and become acquainted with the details requisite to operating the concession services identified in the Prospectus.

The questions must be in a format that allows Reclamation to copy them to Microsoft Word.

Submission of Proposal

In order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract, proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on September 11, 2026 (amended date). Proposals must be sealed and mailed to the address below.
