This announcement is a Sources Sought (market research) Notice. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be taken as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award contract. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for Roman Catholic Priest services. The Government will not exercise supervision or control over the contract service providers.
The Contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards specified in the PWS. Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor, who is responsible to the Government. The United States Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG-HI) requires Roman Catholic Priest Services conducted in accordance with Army Regulation 165-1 Army Chaplain Corps Activities.
All services under this contract shall be performed by an ordained Priest of the Catholic Church who is endorsed by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), with faculties accepted or granted by the AMS Archbishop and in cooperation with the COR. The services shall be performed at USAG Hawaii, including Schofield Barracks Main Post Chapel (790 McCornack Road, Building 790, Schofield Barracks, HI 96857) and Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (1850 Bougainville Loop, Honolulu, HI 96818).
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 813110. Please provide the following information on your capability statement:
1) Your intent to submit a quote for this requirement when it is formally advertised;
2) Name of firm with address, phone number, e-mail address, and point of contact;
3) CAGE Code and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) 4) Size of firm including category of small business, such as 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); and 5) Statement of Capability stating your skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the specific type of work.
Firms responding to this sources sought notice, who fail to provide all of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought notice.
